Drivers and loaders who show up at 6 a.m.
Excelone Staffing places AZ/DZ truck drivers and general labourers with waste and recycling companies across the GTA. Free tools for workers below. No fees, ever.
Two jobs. We know them well.
We only do waste-industry drivers and general labour, so we understand the routes, the early starts and what a good shift looks like.
Rear-pack driver
Residential and commercial curbside routes, often driving with one or two loaders on the back.
Side-loader driver
One-person routes. You drive and load: garbage, recycling, organics and yard waste.
Front-end & roll-off
Commercial bins and construction roll-off containers. Usually 1+ year experience wanted.
Loader / general labour
Ride the truck, lift bags and carts, sort at the yard or plant. The best way to start in waste.
Use these. They're free.

From loader to driver
Many of our drivers started on the back of the truck. Drivers earn more, and good drivers are always in demand.
- Get your full G licence. You need it before any truck licence.
- Work as a loader. Learn the routes, the trucks and the safety habits. Ask drivers questions.
- Take truck training. A Class D course at a ministry-approved school is the usual route. Class A has mandatory entry-level training.
- Get your Z (air brake) endorsement. Almost every garbage truck has air brakes.
- Pass the road test at DriveTest. Then tell us. We'll help you get your first driving shifts.
